A Relaxing Country Getaway Just Outside Of Perth
Harvey Homestead is a beautiful and serene property located in Harvey, a town that is known for being ‘a breath of fresh air’. The property is owned and run by a local family and is set on 10 acres of land with three self-contained chalets that overlook luscious green farmland and where steers roam free. Only 1.5 hours south of Perth, Harvey Homestead is the ideal place to recharge your batteries whilst discovering everything that the beautiful South West has to offer.
The Homestead
The Homestead dates back about 100 years and emanates classical “old world charm”. It’s surrounded by large trees, bushes and lawn area with a farmland outlook. It boasts an outdoor verandah, 2 bedrooms, a very large and spacious lounge room with 2 sitting areas and a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom.
The Cottage
The Cottage was added to our property in 2010. This newly renovated property is stylish and modern, complimented by wooden decking on the front verandah, with a beautiful and serene scenic farmland view. It has two bedrooms with queen size beds, an open plan kitchen, comfortable lounge and bathroom.
The Chalet
The Chalet is our newest property at Harvey Homestead and it boasts a modern new kitchen (stocked with anything you may need), a large bathroom with washing machine, two spacious bedrooms with queen size beds and a stunning deck to sit on while you enjoy the magnificent, quiet surroundings.

We had a wonderful stay at Harvey Homestead. It was sparkling clean and had all the amenities you would require for self catering. Sonia was an absolute delight to deal with. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here while touring the area.
Stayed for 3 nights in the cottage with our children both under 6. It was lovely and peaceful, very clean and private. Great grass area for the kids to run around on, so be sure to take some ball games down. Also a perfect veranda to simply relax with a wine for adults. Interactions with the owners were lovely! If you haven’t been to Harvey, this place is nice and close to some main attractions such as the big Orange, Stirling cottage, Harvey Dam and Wokalup Pub. Lovely little place to get away with the family.
Our family of 6 adults stayed here for a weekend wedding located in Harvey hills. The accomodation was clean, comfortable and very warm as it was a cold weekend. Sonia was a perfect host, going out of her way to fulfil our requests. The showers are fantastic, beds very comfortable with lovely linen. Highly recommend.
What an amazing place! we stayed in the homestead which had everything we needed. extremely clean, tidy and still maintained its old world charm. Our hosts were just so welcoming. Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you for a fabulous girls weekend away.
